Fuzhou issued a number of awards and subsidies to stabilize production

Fuzhou, Jan. 14 (Xinhua/Deng Qianqian and Zhao Xuetong) The General Office of the Fuzhou Municipal Government recently issued the Notice on Stabilizing Production and Employment During the Spring Festival in 2021. Fuzhou will issue a “big gift package” of over 400 million yuan to enterprises as a reward and compensation for continuous production and stable employment during the Spring Festival (February 1, BBB 0, March 31) to protect the legitimate rights and interests of employees working overtime during holidays.

The relevant person in charge of Fuzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau introduced that the purpose of the policy was mainly three aspects: first, to stabilize social psychological expectations and encourage enterprises to continue production during the Spring Festival; Second, to reduce the flow of employment, conducive to epidemic prevention and control; Third, to avoid the difficulties in recruitment, employment and staff returning to their posts caused by the change of the epidemic after the Spring Festival.

The circular made it clear that the awards and subsidies for stable employment will be given to industries that maintain continuous production during the Spring Festival, such as manufacturing, trade and service industries, electronic information, urban transportation, construction, and agricultural production enterprises. There are two types of bonuses and compensations. The first type is unemployment insurance reward and compensations returned to qualified enterprises at an average of 3,870 yuan per person. The second category is the one-time stability of employment award and subsidy, award and subsidy standard per capita 300 yuan.

The circular encourages enterprises to use the awards and subsidies to pay the wages and overtime of employees who stay in their posts during the Spring Festival, as well as the subsidies and sympathy expenses of employees.

In addition, during the Spring Festival, human resources agencies, labor transfer platforms, old employees for the enterprise to recruit new employees, stable employment for more than one month (based on the salary voucher), according to the standard of 500 yuan per capita reward; Those who have stable employment for more than three months will be given a reward of 1,000 yuan per person. The award will be given directly to the HR organization, the old staff or the new staff hired by the individual.

Companies are required to provide data on electricity consumption and industrial output value (or sales value added tax payable) in the first quarter of 2021, so they can apply in April, according to the regulations.
