The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) held a regular press conference in March today, according to the microblog of CAAC. The information released at the press conference said that this year the industry is still in the period of recovery and growth, overall, the civil aviation industry has not changed, the foundation for progress is becoming more solid, but the factors of change still exist. At present, the COVID-19 epidemic is still the biggest uncertainty affecting the recovery and development of the civil aviation industry. In the next step, the Civil Aviation Administration will continue to coordinate and optimize resource allocation, promote the implementation of various supporting policies and measures, and actively promote the steady recovery of the industry. The industry will strive to restore the total transportation scale to more than 80% before the epidemic, passenger transport volume to about 90% before the epidemic, cargo and mail transport volume is basically the same as before the epidemic, and strive to reduce losses and increase profits of aviation enterprises.
