This year, Beijing’s transportation authorities will accelerate the development of the four-network rail transit integration, promote the signing of a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the railway authorities, study and complete the top-level design of the four-network integration, and create “a set of system, one network operation, one ticket, one station security check”. We will promote the overall upgrading of suburban railways such as the sub-central line of the city, the Northeast Ring Line, and the Tongmi-line, and carry out the transformation of the southern section of Line S2 (from Huangdudian to Nankou) into commuter stations, so as to provide citizens with diversified options for commuting.

Beijing will continue to improve the operation and service level of rail transit, and introduce a new security check mode based on the passenger credit system at stations such as Tiantongyuan, Tiantongyuan North and Tiantongyuan South to improve the quality and efficiency of security check and enable passengers to get into the stations quickly.

Beijing will continue to enhance the support of the public transport system, continue to optimize the travel structure, and gradually increase the proportion of commutes within 45 minutes. Build a batch of parking lots at Tun Dian Station of Line 16, Yancun East Station of Yanfang Line, and Anheqiao North Station of Line 4, and study the subway “peak fare + commuter discount”. We will strengthen the promotion of “carbon inclusive” incentives to promote the conversion of private cars to green and intensive travel.

Beijing continued to regulate the total number of small passenger cars and restrict traffic during weekday rush hours, promoting the orderly exit of the second or more small passenger cars registered in the city.
