According to the passenger transport department of Guangzhou Railway Group, Guangzhou Railway Group added 13 pairs of popular direction passenger trains in the map adjustment, all of which are high-speed EMU trains, mainly concentrated between Guangdong and surrounding provinces and cities, to further strengthen the regional high-speed rail network radiation surface and access rate, to meet the needs of passengers. Among them, 10 pairs originated from Guangdong, mainly from Shenzhen to Xiamen and Maoming in the north, from Guangzhou to Shenzhen in the south, from Chaoshan to Shenzhen in the north, and from Zhaoqing to Chaoshan in the north. According to the relevant person in charge of passenger transport department of Guangzhou Railway Group, after the implementation of the new plan, the speed of all EMU trains on the Xiamen-Shenzhen section of the Hangzhou-Shenzhen-Shenzhen line will increase from the original 200Km/h to 250Km/h, with an average compressed running time of about 32 minutes. At the same time, 7 pairs of Shenzhen North to Xiamen (North) Express will be arranged, and only stop at one or two stations in Zhangzhou, Chaoshan, Puning, Chaoyang and other major stations on the way. The whole journey from Shenzhen North to Xiamen North will only take 2 hours and 30 minutes at the fastest, which is about 1 hour less than the original journey time.
Starting from April 10, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen intercity train will run from Guangzhou East to Shenzhen, with a full journey time of 1 hour and 08 minutes. At the same time, “big stop” trains, which only stop at big stations, will be introduced to reduce travel time.
In addition, Guangzhou Railway Group made full use of the passage capacity of Huaiheng high-speed railway line by adjusting five pairs of general speed passenger trains to run on this line in the new picture, greatly reducing the existing running time. After the implementation of the new plan, for the first time, Buddha-Zhao and Suizhuan-Shenzhen intercity “join hands”, the two intercity lines of EMU trains will run across the line, opening a new era of intercity train connectivity between Zhaoqing, Foshan, Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen.
In the new plan, 11 pairs of cross-line EMU trains will be arranged between Shenzhen Airport and Zhaoqing, which will enable passengers to reach Zhaoqing quickly from Shenzhen without any further transfer, making travel more convenient and greatly saving time and cost. (after)
