April 27 — On April 23, Yang Tianju, chairman of CNCNG, as an adjunct professor of Harbin Institute of Technology, was invited to give a special lecture to all the graduates of the class of 2021 of Civil Engineering College, and received unanimous praise.

Professor Yang shared some of the ways and paths he has taken to improve his learning ability, that is, to change the channels of thought, expand the boundaries of knowledge, enhance the cognitive dimension, and form effective learning. Based on this major, I will upgrade from engineering thinking to philosophy thinking, break the taboo of cognition, pursue a better thinking model, and form a learning ability that will benefit me for life. Taking learning as a lifelong task, reading, communication and practice as the basic path of learning, constitute an extended system to promote action through knowledge.
Through his own experience, Professor Yang Tianju shared how to use strategic thinking, systematic thinking, logical thinking and project thinking to guide the formulation and development direction of enterprise strategy, and how to realize the recycling process from something emerging from something to something out of nothing, from idea to cognition and then to practice.
Methodology is the correct understanding of things and the way to solve things. Professor Yang Tianju gave the students a nine-word maxim: “To know physics, to understand reason, and to understand people’s reason”. The important way to know physics, understand reason and understand people is to have a thorough understanding of the connotation of various disciplines and combine natural science, social science and humanities organically. We should think systematically with philosophical methodology. Constructing a structured, multi-level, multi-angle problem-solving methodology to eliminate professional one-sidedness.
Physics solves problems such as mechanism, structure and logic, etc., and then improves to a higher level, that is, the interface of methodology, which is to solve physical phenomena with philosophical thinking. From a human point of view, it is a process of making simple things complicated and then simplifying complex issues. In this process, we go up to the system interface, and through induction, we find the methodology. The core issue of methodology is to standardize, process, institutionalize and systemize complex problems, and then raise them to the value interface, which requires simultaneous efforts from the three interfaces of technology, system and value.
