Different from the automatic production of gas fields, remote automatic control of offshore oil fields is more difficult, facing risks such as preventing oil spills, pipeline clogging, and water inflow in FPSO engine room. Meanwhile, it is necessary to ensure the production of FPSO within the range of acceptable swing degree, which requires breakthrough of professional design concepts such as technology, electrometer and communication.
It was reported that the feasibility study of the remote automatic control system in Enping Oilfield was launched in August 2019. Offshore construction will begin in July 2020; By the end of 2020, it will complete the access renovation and the trial work of joint sea-land coordination; It was tested and verified in April this year.
