Recently, China Wine Association held the 2021 China Wine Leading Enterprise Summit with the theme of “Gathering strength, setting sail”. The wine industry giants such as Changyu, Great Wall, Veyron, Dynasty and CITIC Guoan gathered again and had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the industry advantages, industry problems and development direction.
According to statistics, in the first half of this year, the national scale above wine production enterprises amounted to 116, wine output reached 1357 million liters, year-on-year growth of 1.24%; The accumulated sales revenue reached 4.395 billion yuan, up 5.46% year on year; The total profit reached 143 million yuan, up 43.29% year on year. Wang Qi, executive director of China Wine Association, pointed out that from the economic data and market analysis in the first half of the year, China’s wine industry has gradually entered a rising channel. To maintain a good momentum of growth, it is necessary for China’s leading wine enterprises to actively play the market promotion and brand building power.
Yantai Changyu Pioneer Wine Company Limited Chairman Zhou Hongjiang said in his speech that in the past, China’s Wine industry followed behind foreign Wine, and had made mistakes in cultural communication, consumer cultivation and product research and development. “Standing at a new starting point, it is important for us to constantly review what we should not learn and what we should stick to. Enterprises should return to craftsmanship to do quality, with continuous perseverance, determination to do a good job in this industry to expand.”
Wang Hao, chairman of Cofco Wine Co., also believes that excessive interpretation of imported wine culture has led to strict tasting methods and strict food matching, which have left consumers with an upscale but stereotypical impression that is increasingly difficult to popularize. Today’s Chinese wine industry needs Chinese discourse expression, value system, evaluation system and language system.
It is reported that the China Wine Association is preparing a white paper on the Development history of Chinese wine. Wang Qi stressed that we should trace back to the origin and clarify the history of Chinese wine development, especially clarify the development history of native wine and the transmission path of Eurasian wine grapes, so as to provide theoretical basis for the formulation of national industrial policy and the correct cognition of consumers.
