Bocom’s “One Thing” Support standard for Bank Medical Payment “and Renji Hospital’s” One Thing “Implementation Standard for Hospital Medical Payment” have passed the comprehensive evaluation of the “Shanghai Standard” Evaluation Committee. Together with 11 other projects such as “One Thing for Government Service” Support Standard, they have been awarded the “Shanghai Standard” in 2021. On October 22, Zhou Wanfu, vice President of BoCOM, was invited to participate in the theme activity of Shanghai 2021 World Standards Day and attend the launch ceremony of 2021 Shanghai Standards.
Shanghai attaches great importance to the standardization, promote to build a high level of standard brand “Shanghai standard”, according to the domestic advanced, advanced international requirements, to form a batch of par international advanced level, leading the exemplary role cluster clear standards, strong support of Shanghai “four major brands” “five centers” and socialist modernization construction of international metropolis. According to the Provisions of the “Regulations of Shanghai Municipality on Standardization”, if the local standards, group standards and enterprise standards formulated by Shanghai Municipality meet the domestic leading and international advanced requirements after voluntary application and evaluation by third party organizations, the “Shanghai Standards” mark may be used on the standard text.
The supporting Standards for “One Thing” of Bank Medical Payment and the Implementation Standards for “One Thing” of Hospital Medical Payment jointly support the pilot work of “one thing” of Medical payment in Shanghai, which is the first enterprise standard for “one thing” of medical payment in China. It also pioneered the “one thing” of virtual credit card and digital credit products for medical payment, innovated the “family payment” and other functions, expanded the mode of credit medical treatment, and successfully realized the reengineering of medical payment process. Compared with before the implementation of the standard, the number of queues for patients to pay has been reduced from at least three to zero, and the queuing time for patients to pay has been reduced by an average of 45 minutes, which is a vivid practice of the standard helping the city’s digital transformation and providing convenient services to citizens’ lives. Based on the successful implementation experience of the standard, Bank of Communications has actively promoted it in medical institutions in Shanghai and exported it widely throughout the country.
The formulation and implementation of the standards are of great significance for improving the efficiency of medical services, improving patients’ medical experience and constructing social credit system. Winning the “Shanghai Standard” is not only the recognition of the contribution of Shanghai Medical payment “One Thing” special class to boCOM project, but also lays a good foundation for the replication and promotion of the project in the Yangtze River Delta region and even the whole country in the future. In the next step, Bank of Communications will continue to do a good job in the promotion of relevant businesses, truly provide people with a smooth experience of “credit medical treatment, no sense of payment, no queue, less round-trip, all-in-one”.
