On November 10, the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) came to an end. As an important group of exhibitors and buyers, Greenland Group participated in the CIIE comprehensively and deeply for four consecutive years, continuously amplifying the ciIE spillover effects and promoting its own industrial transformation and upgrading.
This year, Greenland Group continues to participate in the CiIE in an all-round way with multiple identities. As an exhibitor, it has introduced 220 brands from 32 countries and regions, with a total exhibition area of nearly 2,000 square meters. As a purchaser, we have reached purchase intention with nearly 60 enterprises in 30 countries, with a total purchase amount of $790 million. At the same time, Greenland further amplifies the spillover effect of the CiIE by relying on its “6-day + 365-day” perennial trading service platform of the CiIE — Greenland Global Commodity Trade Port, and the first consumption form of the CIIE in China — Nanjing Road Expo Market, so as to expand and strengthen the global trade industry, optimize the overall industrial structure, and accelerate the overall transformation and upgrading.
As a group of exhibitors, Greenland’s total exhibition area increased by nearly 70% compared with last year. This year, the green space in the food and agricultural exhibition galleries, consumer goods, medical and health care products exhibition, respectively, set up green food pavilion, pavilion quality of green consumption and green health museum, 220 brands in 32 countries and regions, welcomed the visit more than 80000 passengers, passenger flow field received intention booth customers to purchase orders for more than 800 million yuan. The exhibition covers 20 categories of imported commodities such as food, agricultural products, clothing, luggage and furniture. During the CiIE, Greenland booths held nearly 50 activities such as procurement signing, business docking, new product launch, interactive experience and brand promotion. Greenland also actively organized the debut of domestic new products at the CIIE, including new featured products redesigned for the Chinese market.
As a buyer, Greenland doubled the number of goods from countries of origin compared with the first CIIE. This year, the green space and from Russia, Belgium, France, New Zealand, South Korea, Chile, Uruguay, Slovenia and other 30 countries more than 60 companies purchasing intention of purchasing Argentina beef, whey powder, Greece, Vietnam and Pakistan sandfish, France bags, New Zealand wool products, such as special goods, “One Belt And One Road” along with a total of 15 countries. Compared with last year, Greenland focuses on overseas livelihood commodities and quality consumer goods, especially beef, cosmetics and cosmetics, light luxury goods and other categories with rapidly growing domestic market demand. It actively excavates upstream quality brands and expands the countries of origin of commodities.
At the same time, green space will further amplify the spillover effect of the CIIE and make the global trade industry bigger and stronger. On the one hand, continuously improve the development level of Greenland global commodity trade port. Into during the expo, the green world merchandise trade port held new product promotion, business docking and round BBS, try tasting, live rich activities, such as cargo synchronous nearly thousands of the fourth into the expo new products launch, there are 164 enterprises in the receiving intention of customers to purchase orders, total amount is 530 million yuan, up 12.8% year on year, orders from domestic more than 20 major provinces and cities. Greenland Trade Port has attracted 180 enterprises and organizations from 76 countries and regions, and more than 70% of them have registered in Shanghai. The platform now has more than 90,000 imported commodities, and more than 20,000 of the same commodities in the CIIF, with a total transaction volume of more than 50 billion yuan and an annual sales volume of more than 100 million yuan, there are 19 settled enterprises.
On the other hand, we will continue to promote the upgrading and layout of the “Expo Fair”, the country’s first expo consumption format. At the same time, a series of activities were held in Shanghai Nanjing Road Jinbo Market to promote the same brand. During the CiIE, the average daily passenger flow exceeded 15,000. Since its opening in May this year, jinbo Market on Nanjing Road has collected more than 5,000 products of the same style and national characteristics from 40 countries and regions. At present, Greenland is accelerating the launching of Jinbo Market in Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport to build version 2.0 of Jinbo Market.
